Description

Determines whether there is a warning of multiple copies when moving items to the holds shelf.

If the parameter is set to "Yes" a warning will be shown if one or more items are moved to a holds shelf, and the move will cause the shelf to contain multiple copies of the same title.

The warning is part of the “Warning of questionable item movements” function, and requires this to be turned on.

Note: The purpose of this functionality is to avoid having a holds shelf contain two copies of the same title. This will in turn prevent patrons from inadvertently taking an item held for another patron.
