This parameter specifies the maximum validity period for a login session - in other words, how much time a user can stay logged on before the system once again asks for his/her password. Once the user has logged in again, he/she can continue to work in the system using data from the browser/session.

The login session will also expire if there has been no communication with the IMMS server for a period of time defined by the “Maximum inactive time on login session” parameter.
