Description

This parameter defines how long the system stores the log that is continuously updated. Logs which are older than the number of days configured are deleted during the nightly run.

The clean-up time limit affects the security reports, which take a look at the (“Unsuccessful attempts logging in” and “Who has done what” logs). A tight clean-up time limit will therefore diminish the opportunity to see which actions have been performed in the system. Furthermore, system troubleshooting may be burdened by a clean-up time limit that is too tight.
