The parameter controls the action carried out by the automatic error correction on items sent to central sorting from places other than a holds shelf or item grouping.

If the parameter is set, the item is discarded with the discard code indicated by the parameter.

If the parameter is not set, the item is registered as “shelved” at the branch.
