P11 Strategies

On this page you can manage the strategies of the titles and thus of the items belonging to the titles. Each strategy has an associated strategy consequence that controls the situations in which items in this strategy are sent to a media hotel. The rules are defined on a basic level in IMMS, but can be customized by the user via an adjustable value. For example, you could create a strategy called “Always media hotel” and associate a rule, which is set so that items in this strategy must always be sent to a media hotel regardless of the branch’s level of stock. The rules are described in Strategy consequences.

Strategies can be created as needed and can be made inactive and later deleted. All strategies can be described with free text. For example, the effect that a particular basic rule setting has on the items in a specific strategy can be described.
