Description

This parameter, which is set at the branch level, specifies whether the branch must always be assigned its own items.

If the parameter is set on Yes, items with a fixed relationship to the branch will always be assigned to the branch regardless whether or not space is available.

If the parameter is set on No, items with a fixed relationship to the branch will be assigned to the branch if there is available space in relation to the current stock of the item grouping and the branch’s configuration in general. If there is no available space at the branch, the item is assigned to a media hotel.

Refer otherwise to the description of the designation for branches on whether they are included in IMMS or not as this has a related effect on the intelligent distribution algorithm.
