Description

This parameter specifies the branch’s priority as a lending branch. The priority is used when IMMS selects which branch items fulfilling a hold must be picked from.

Branches with a larger number (higher priority) for this parameter are preferred over branches with a lower number (lower priority).

Typically, you set the priority for “ordinary branches” at the system level and set a different priority for the limited number of branches which must be prioritized differently (higher or lower). This could, for example, be the main library and media hotels.
