|Front page › Web client › P14 Standard reports||Search||Version: 1.28.0|
The web client can generate a number of reports based on a set of standard reports available in IMMS. A specific report can be generated on the basis of a standard report by specifying one or more of the report parameters defined by the standard report. Reports can be saved, subscriptions can be created.
The following describes how to generate reports in the web client.
This page shows a list of the available reports. The reports are divided into groups to simplify the overview. The reports within a group can be hidden or displayed by clicking on the group.
|Reports table||The following information is shown in the table
|User with/without editing permissions|
|“Select” button||Displays the “Report” dialog box, showing detailed information about the selected report, where the information can be edited|
This dialog box is used to generate reports. There is an option for configuring what information should be included in the report and which format the report should be in.
A report can be saved by entering a name and pressing the save button. In addition to the parameters for the report, the save function allows creation of a subscription.
|Report parameters||A report can have an associated set of parameters, which are either mandatory or optional. These are used to search for the necessary content of the report. Mandatory fields are indicated by a “*”.
The parameters can either be free text, an option from a picklist, or a point in time (a date and a time). Some parameters allow multiple selections at the same time. This is accomplished by holding down the Ctrl key while clicking on the values to be selected. For saved reports and subscriptions, the date component of time parameters is relative to the time a report is generated.
|Report template field||Shows the name of the report template and cannot be edited. If the Help icon to the right of the text is clicked, Help is displayed in a new browser window for the selected report.|
|Description field||Shows a brief description of the report template and cannot be edited.|
|“Sort primarily by column” picklist||Picklist of the columns that can be sorted by. It is also possible to select “No sorting” if the report does not need to be specifically sorted. You can select whether the sorting should be in ascending or descending order in the picklist on the right.|
|“Sort secondarily by column” picklist||Picklist of the columns that should be sorted by as a second priority. It is also possible to select “No sorting” if the report only requires one type of sorting. You can select whether the sorting should be in ascending or descending order in the picklist on the right.|
|Field for the maximum number of rows||Specifies the maximum number of rows in the report.|
|Picklist of formats + “Generate report” button||The report’s format can be selected (either CSV or PDF) here. By clicking the button, you can generate a report that can be stored locally. The report file will function just like other files downloaded from the Internet via the browser. In other words, it will depend on the settings of the specific computer where the report file is stored by default and, for example, whether the user is prompted to confirm the download of the report file.|
|Field for report name + “Save” button||Specifies the name of the specific report if it will be saved for later use. The report, along with the parameters and configuration, is saved and can be retrieved later under Saved reports.|
|Enable Subscription||Specifies whether a subscription is wanted for the report. At least one day must be selected. The report is sent to the user's e-mail address as specified in "My details".|
|Send empty Reports||Specifies whether the report should be sent, if it contains no rows. By deselecting this option, the subscription can be used to alert about events of interest.|
|Run at Time||Specifies the time of day the report is generated on the selected days.|
|Run on Days||Specifies the days of week the report is generated.|
