P14 Standard reports

The web client can generate a number of reports based on a set of standard reports available in IMMS. A specific report can be generated on the basis of a standard report by specifying one or more of the report parameters defined by the standard report. Reports can be saved, subscriptions can be created.

The following describes how to generate reports in the web client.

MAIN PAGE (P14): Standard reports

This page shows a list of the available reports. The reports are divided into groups to simplify the overview. The reports within a group can be hidden or displayed by clicking on the group.

DIALOG BOX (P14.1): Handle Report

This dialog box is used to generate reports. There is an option for configuring what information should be included in the report and which format the report should be in.

A report can be saved by entering a name and pressing the save button. In addition to the parameters for the report, the save function allows creation of a subscription.

Element Description
Report parameters A report can have an associated set of parameters, which are either mandatory or optional. These are used to search for the necessary content of the report. Mandatory fields are indicated by a “*”.

The parameters can either be free text, an option from a picklist, or a point in time (a date and a time). Some parameters allow multiple selections at the same time. This is accomplished by holding down the Ctrl key while clicking on the values to be selected. For saved reports and subscriptions, the date component of time parameters is relative to the time a report is generated.
