Parameter: Time limit for correction orders for items in wrong exhibition

Data type:
Numeric (number of days)
Can be empty:
Yes
Can be set at the system level:
Yes
Can be set at the branch level:
No

Description

The parameter controls whether the automatic error correction creates error correction orders for items registered for a location which belongs to an active exhibition but whose exhibition group does not match the item.

If the parameter is not set, no error correction orders are created.

If the parameter is set, the value indicates how much time must pass before error correction orders are created for misplaced items.

This is calculated in whole days, measured from the latest registration for the item until the time when the job handling the error correction is run (typically runs at night). If the parameter is set on 0, all of the relevant items are error corrected during the next run. If the parameter is set on 1, items that have been inactive for at least 1 day, etc., are error corrected.

If the item is registered in the system again before the time limit expires, the item is not error corrected.

Note: This type of error correction orders are also created, if the locations used for one exhibition are subsequently used for another exhibition and the items from the first exhibition are not removed from the locations. Also if by mistake the same locations are used for more than one exhibition active at the same time.
