P04 Orders

On this page you can search for orders entered in IMMS.

It is also possible to manage order deletions.

Tip: Like the others, this search is limited to a maximum of 5,000 results.
Tip: Use the double arrowbutton below the overview to automatically adjust all column widths to appropriately suit the displayed contents. However, if the overall width becomes too large for the screen, then a scroll bar appears at the bottom of the overview.

MAIN PAGE (P04): Orders

Order information:

Element Description
Picklist with order classes You can select the order class to search for here.
If “*” is selected, the order’s class is ignored.
Picklist with order types You can select the order type to search for here.
If “*” is selected, the order’s type is ignored.
Order created date range Used to locate orders created within a specific date range.
Picklist for “ready for picking” You can choose here whether the search should be limited to orders that are ready for picking (select “Yes”) or orders that are not ready for picking (select “No”). If “*” is selected, the picking status for the order is ignored.
Picklist with list names You can select the list name to search for here.
If “*” is selected, list name is ignored.
The list name can only be selected if the order is a list order.
Picklist for the destination branch You can select the destination branch to search for here. If “*” is selected, the destination branch for the order is ignored.
Please be aware that only move orders have a destination branch given.

Item information:

Element Description
Item ID field You can enter the Item ID to search for here.
Picklist for the current branch You can enter the current branch to search for here. If “*” is selected, the current branch for the order is ignored.

Other:

Element Description
Search button Starts the search.
Orders are searched based on the selected search criterias.
Button for resetting search criteria Clears all the search criteria entered.
Table with orders The following information is shown in the table
  • Order type
  • Creation time
  • Ready for picking
  • List name
  • Author
  • Title
  • Current branch
  • Note
The table can be sorted by the contents of all columns. Sorting is enabled by clicking on the specific column name you would like to sort by.
The table allows you to select multiple rows at the same time. Hold down the Ctrl button to select multiple rows. Hold down the Shift button to select a range of rows. This is described in detail in Introduction to the IMMS web client.
Button for adjusting the column width Adjusts the width of each column in the table so it suits the current contents of the column.
User with editing permissions
“Details” button Opens the Order Details dialog box, providing detailed information for the selected order.
The function is only available when exactly one order has been selected in the list.
“Delete” button Opens the Delete Orders dialog box for deleting the selected orders.

Please note: Pick orders for patrons cannot be deleted: These are calculated automatically based on holds managed by the LMS (in error scenarios the hold can be deleted from Holds).
If a patron pick order is part of selection list, the button is disabled.
“Select all” button Selects all orders in the overview.
“Deselect all” button Clears the selection of all orders in the overview.
User without editing permissions.
“Details” button Opens the Order Details dialog box, providing detailed information for the selected order.
The function is only available when exactly one order has been selected in the list.

The following information is shown in this dialog box. It is not possible to change any of the information.

“Item Details” button Opens the Item details dialog box, providing details about the item.
“Item History” button Opens the Item History dialog box, showing the history of the item.
“Previous” button Opens the Order Details dialog box for the previous order in the overview.
The button is only enabled if there is an order listed before the current order in the overview.
“Next” button Opens the Order Details dialog box for the next order in the overview.
The button is only enabled if there is an order listed after the current order in the overview.

DIALOG BOX (P04.2): Delete Orders

The selected orders can be deleted here. The function requires the “Item administration” role and one or more orders must be selected.
